Regional Sales Manager – Residential, Southeast Region

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager. The Southeast Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the National Sales Manager and plans, develops and implements long and short-term Sales strategies for our residential product line. Provides strong organizational leadership, motivation and management skills in directing sales of our residential products in the Southeast United States through Manufacturer's Representatives. Job requires 50% travel and can be home based or an office will be provided at our facility.  Must be proficient in the use of the following software systems: MS Windows, Excel, Word, as well as experience and use of CRM, ERP software.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor s degree in Business Management or Marketing/Sales Administration from an accredited 4-year college or university with progressively more responsible position or relevant experience. Excellent persuasive skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills to effectively interface with customers, sales reps and co-workers.

Processing Section Leader

Department:               Manufacturing

Position Title:             Processing Section Leader

Reports to:                 Processing Supervisor

Purpose:                     Lead production activity in a section of the Processing Department

Hours:                         6:45am to 3:15pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch

2:45pm to 11:15pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch

10:45pm to 7:15am with a 30 minute unpaid lunch 

 

Essential functions with indication of % of performance time:

  1. Assist in the development of standards and provide recommendations for improvement of efficiency in each operation of department. (10%)
  2. Set up all equipment and fixturing required to run any job in the department. (35%)
  3. Make any machine adjustment required. (10%)
  4. Make daily assignments of department employees using production schedule. (5%)
  5. Provide on the job training and make quality checks for employees (10%)
  6. Review production performance of each employee; report to Supervisor (10%)
  7. Work with all employees to provide accurate accounting of production activity. (5%)
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned. (5%)
  9. Lead by example to build constructive relationships by taking the initiative to make things better. (10%)

Mental / Visual Requirement:

Part-time normal and part-time concentrated attention and coordination required using tools to set up and adjust machines properly. Ability to communicate to employees and Supervisor. Ability to read and understand machine manuals to determine proper set up and preventive maintenance.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and move baskets of parts and boxes of supplies to production employees using hand carts, pallet jack, and lift truck. Boxes of supplies may weigh up to 50 pounds. 

Education / Experience:

High school diploma or GED, and one-year experience in job requiring communication and interaction with employees. Should have experience in the use of personal computer. Must demonstrate a good business sense. 

Miscellaneous Job Requirements:  Provide basic tool set and have ability to obtain valid tow motor license.

Shipping & Receiving

Purpose: Responsible for the accounting of and movement of materials. The Shipper/Receiver ensures that product leaving the facility is shipped according to the Pick List and customers' expectations. Responsible to receive in materials and accurately disposition to the correct inventory stock areas.

Essential functions:

  • Set up manufacturing orders according to the pick list.
  • Utilize ERP software and ERP interfacing hand scanners to input data and export reports as necessary.
  • Responsible for maintaining a constant flow of material and cartons to processing.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Drive fork trucks in a safe and cautious manner.
  • Conduct random inventory counts.
  • Maintain organization of product in all work areas.
  • Receive product and inspect for accuracy and quality.
  • Must be able to obtain and sustain a fork lift license
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain strong working relationships. Display a positive attitude and a respect for others.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Mental / Visual Requirement: Standing, walking, and extended periods of driving on tow motor for most of the shift. Moderate to heavy physical labor required to lift and move baskets and cartons of parts. Ability to use and maintain equipment such as tape machine, stapler, etc. Ability to lift and move baskets of parts using a hand cart, pallet jack, or lift truck. Boxes of supplies may weigh up to 50 pounds.
  • Education / Experience:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Some experience operating hand tools and ability to drive lift truck a plus. Must have good attendance history and maintain good attendance record.
  • Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to read and understand customer orders. Must have the ability to retain information and pay attention to detail. Good math skills or ability to use a calculator. Must maintain accuracy. Must maintain good attendance. Lift truck license required. Ability to operate lift truck in safe and efficient manner.

The Manufacturing Engineer is involved with all aspects of equipment, fixturing, automation, robotics, etc. to efficiently process molded parts into finished products. Knowledge of industrial automation, process improvements, problem-solving, cost justifications and project management are key fundamentals for success. This position interacts regularly with all other functional departments and outside suppliers to accomplish project objectives. Effective communication, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and solid modeling skills are essential. Abilities with Solidworks, CAMworks, CNC programming and PLCs are a plus.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering (or related degree), preferably with some on the job experience in this field. An associate’s degree in engineering will be considered with an appropriate level of experience.
