ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
Solids Works Design:
- Work closely with our engineering team to create detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate on the design and development of components and systems, ensuring adherence to Allied Moulded standards and project requirements.
Project Task Execution:
- Take ownership of assigned project tasks and see them through from conception to completion.
- Participate in task-driven project work, applying engineering principals to solve real-world challenges.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Communicate effectively within the engineering team, sharing progress updates and seeking input when needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions into broader project objectives.
Problem Solving:
- Analyze engineering problems and propose effective solutions, demonstrating a keen problem-solving mindset.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of design changes, iterations, and project progress.
- Prepare reports and presentations as required.
Data Analysis:
- Collect and analyze data via reports and on the production floor to ensure detailed understanding of key variables of the data.
- Generate reports and provide support on decision making.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, (or related degree), Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant engineering software. Strong understanding of engineering principles and design fundamentals. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
MENTAL/VISUAL REQUIREMENT:
Ability to follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work without close supervision. Ability to generate reporting documents and participate in team meetings. Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment. Good general ability with use of computer touch screens and written documents. Basic math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
