BRYAN, Ohio, October 17, 2019 – Allied Moulded’s series of floor box assemblies are now available in rough-in and trim-out configurations, including rectangular (FB-2RI, FB-6RI) and round (FB-3RI, FB-4RI) box profiles. The new kits are individually packaged and offer added installation convenience early in the construction process.

Box rough-in kits include a device and all box installation hardware and can be paired with a variety of trim-out cover options, including brushed brass, dark bronze, or nickel-plated brass.

“Our floor box product offering features a variety of box and cover types” explains Dave Gordon, National Sales Manager for Residential Products. “The new kits offer the added flexibility to mix and match multiple trim-out cover finish options with each rough-in kit for their application.”

Floor boxes are designed for use in wood floor construction and are compatible with multiple floor substrate materials, including ceramic, hardwood, laminate, or carpet. Each floor box is UL® listed and features tamper-resistant duplex or decorative style devices, extra deep wiring capacity, and cover gaskets to provide a scrub watertight seal.
